Anne Louise Morseth
I have always been a hopeless romantic, a millennial grown up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Sex & the City. And have probably watched 90ties rom-com classics such as When Harry Met Sally and Notting Hill more than a dozen times.
Happy Ending is my first novel, and of course it is a romance.
I have previsously workd as a acquring editor for commercial fiction in one of Norway's largest publishing houses, and now I work as a freelance editor, writing instructor and writer.
Happy Ending
Karo Løwe has always believed in happy endings, until she meets Love Sandström.
A hopeless romantic, Karo grew up dreaming of fairy-tale love and now writes sugary sweet YA novels filled with happy endings.
Love, on the other hand, is a literary icon, known for his existential, brooding masterpieces. Romance? That’s for dreamers.
After an epic karaoke embarrassment at the Gothenburg Book Fair goes viral, Karo finds herself at the center of a publicity stunt: Love’s renowed publisher wants to pair her and Love to co-write a novel. The goal? Blending their worlds for a guaranteed international bestseller.
There’s just one problem — initially neither of them wants to do it. And when they do they clash over every page.
Slowly Karo starts to see past Love’s arrogance and into something deeper. And before she knows it, there’s a spark she really doesn’t want to acknowledge. But Love has a secret. And happy endings? They don’t always come easy.
This is Love & Anarchy meets Call My Agent meets Notting Hill (or at least that's what I'm aiming for)
